The leading man at Seckingtons, Johnny has been in the hairdressing industry for over 25 years, and what a career he’s built up so far. A popular choice with the clients, with a column booked up for months in advance, Johnny believes in going that extra mile to make every single one of his guests feel special and look fantastic.
Creative talent is something that runs through Johnny’s veins, with career highlights that rival even some of the biggest names. National finalist in three categories at the Aveda Pure Image Awards, Johnny spent two consecutive years representing hairdressing giants Schwarzkopf Professional as a member of their Young Artistic Team.
He’s also a favourite at Hairdressers Journal’s grand exhibition Salon International, where he has presented for thousands of hairdressers and press from all over the world, got the stars ready for the BAFTAs and has even styled the runways of London Fashion Week. As a training champion in Northampton, Johnny is also an Aveda Styling Professional and is often found leading courses at Aveda’s training academy down in the capital.
That’s not all, he’s got a head for business too! Johnny was also a finalist at the Creative Head Most Wanted Awards for their Business Thinker category, was shortlisted for Salon of the Year 1 at Hairdressers Journal’s British Hairdressing Business Awards and won the Training Awards as well being crowned Overall Winner at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards 2016. Macey is a confident and a highly motivated colourist with a career expanding over 21 years. Her high level of knowledge and experience within the industry allows her to offer all her guests a quality service with beautiful colour results.
As well as enjoying being a member of a busy team and having always enjoyed the artistic opportunities that the industry presents, Macey’s true passion lies in teaching; for her there is nothing more satisfying than watching her team members grow, develop and achieve their professional goals.
Macey has an extensive range of achievements to date from qualifications in team leading, customer service and teaching to advanced colour education including the highly recognised Master Colour Expert Award.
Ben is an Art Director with over 20 years of experience. Ben is a naturally talented and creative hairdresser with an eye for detail. Ben specialises in cutting hair and enjoys creating beautiful, classic and expensive looks.
Before Ben started his career at Seckingtons he worked at premium salons in London and was nominated for British Newcomer of the Year and Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards.
As well as creating stunning natural looks Ben has also worked backstage on shows and shoots and has produced hair for magazines POP! and Used magazine to name a few.
Ben has an extraordinary eye for detail and has a unique way of seeing hair and we are thrilled to have him as part of the Seckingtons Team! He sure is one to watch!

Josh is an Executive Art Director with over 18 years of experience in the industry, including over 10 years at Seckingtons. He is level NVQ 3 trained and has a passion for building good relationships with his clients and having a good laugh with them. Josh has many long-standing clients who have become friends.
His main passion is colouring hair, and he is always up for offering a seasonal change. Josh feels extremely confident in creating seamless blondes and gorgeous coppers. He took his knowledge to the highest level by completing his RCH colour course with Redken.
Another passion of Josh’s is working with shorter hair. He finds it extremely satisfying to create beautiful bobs or any softer short styles that take years off his clients. Josh always ensures that he creates a haircut that his client can style themselves.
Josh also enjoys teaching his team members both colour and cutting and watching their skills develop.
On a personal level, Josh is a social butterfly, always away on a weekend and loves to see the world. He enjoys receiving recommendations from clients for new places to explore.

Meet Maddie, the Executive Art Director with over 14 years of experience in the hair industry. As a Level 1,2,3 NVQ trained and an assessor, she is passionate about watching her team grow and supporting them. Maddie is known for her bubbly personality and loves chatting with her clients, building friendships, and laughing. She enjoys meeting new people and working with her clients.
Maddie’s passion lies in transforming her clients’ entire look and boosting their confidence through their hair. She is an expert in extensions, having trained in the Racoon Hot Bond system, pre-bonds, nanos, and tape extensions with Beauty Works and Viola. With her skills, she can help you achieve your ultimate hair goals with both thickness and length. Maddie also loves being creative with colour by creating seamless balayage and bright blondes.
When it comes to haircuts, Maddie loves both long and short hair. For long hair, she enjoys adding shape to help the hair fall beautifully and finish the haircut with a big bouncy blow-dry or soft glam wave. With shorter haircuts, Maddie gets to be more creative and create a striking style. She’s also naturally good at hair up and has done many weddings. She loves making her guests feel beautiful.

Meet Jemma, our Executive Art Director with over 10 years of experience in the salon industry. She started her journey at Seckingtons as an older apprentice and quickly progressed through her Level 3 hairdressing qualification.

She has previously worked with various art teams and assisted at big events such as London Fashion Week, where she showcases her creativity with hair and keeps up with the latest trends.
Nothing scares Jemma in hairdressing, and she is always up for a challenge. She loves coming up with a plan with her clients on how to achieve the hair they desire. Jemma is friendly and loves to have a laugh and light-hearted conversation with her guests. Introducing Chantelle, Seckingtons’ Senior Art Director with over 18 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. Chantelle has been a part of the Seckingtons team since 2019, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Her qualifications include a NVQ Level 4 Distinction Diploma with Toni and Guy, a distinction in creative cutting course, a qualification in Racoon hair extensions course, and a Diploma in Hair up course session and editorial.

Meet Chloe, our Senior Art Director at Seckingtons Northampton. Chloe has been with us since 2019 and has been in the hair industry since 2007. With a wealth of experience under her belt, Chloe holds an NVQ Level 4 Distinction Diploma with Toni and Guy, a Toni and Guy Art Team distinction in creative cutting, a free expression cutting diploma, a Racoon hair extensions qualification, a men’s creative cutting diploma, and a wig cutting and medical hair loss diploma with Macmillan.
In the salon, Chloe’s favourite things to do are all blonding services, including baby lights, highlights, and balayage. She also loves working with women’s long and short hair, men’s hair, blow drying and styling, and hair extensions.
When she’s not in the salon, Chloe enjoys spending time with her two beautiful children and her three sausage dogs. She has a keen interest in fashion and loves to travel.

Meet Mimi, an Art Director who has always been fascinated by the art of hairdressing and has completed several courses to hone her skills, including specialisations in bleach techniques, modern balayage, precision and solution-based haircuts, and curly/textured hair.
Mimi’s favourite things to do include creating beautiful balayage and highlights/baby lights, styling hair in unique ways, and creating bespoke looks for her clients. Her love for colour is evident in her personal style, as she adores bright and bold shades, especially the colour pink. Mimi is always eager to try new things and learn new skills, which keeps her passionate and engaged in her work, leading her to become a part of the Kerastase Hair Club.
Mimi has established herself as a talented and dedicated hairstylist who always strives to give her clients the best experience possible. Her favourite hair products include the Genesis range, which she swears by for its effectiveness in reducing hair loss, as well as Kerastase oil, which she believes everyone needs.
Meet Lukas, he has a passion for fashion work, styling, and educating others. Lukas has been at the salon for over 5 years and has amassed an impressive set of qualifications, including an NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Hair, an assessor’s qualification, the Ben Brown cutting course, the Sophia Hilton colour course, and various creative colour courses at the L’Oreal Academy.
Lukas is a highly skilled hairstylist and a Redken Artist, which means he not only creates stunning looks but also helps to educate other Redken stylists.
Additionally, he is an ambassador for GHD, a renowned brand in the hair care industry. Lukas has worked on many photoshoots, showcasing his versatility and creativity. He is also a regular fixture at Fashion Week, where he collaborates with designers to create runway-worthy looks that make a statement.
Lukas has developed a keen eye for hair colouring and transformation, specialising in colour changes, restyles, and hair up. Meet Becky, our talented and experienced Art Director who has been with Seckingtons for over 6 years now. With over 22 years of experience in the industry, Becky is an expert in her field, with an NVQ3 qualification and an assessor’s qualification, along with a Sassoon cutting course. Her favourite thing to do is cutting hair, especially curly cuts, shag cuts, and fringes.
Becky is a perfectionist with an understanding and compassionate personality. She loves creating curls that last all week and recommends the Kerastase Discipline range for unruly hair, as she has struggled with frizz herself and knows how to tame it.
Becky’s main goal is to transform her clients’ look and make them feel confident. She loves taking her clients from their busy day lives into a state of total relaxation with an aromatherapy head massage. Millie is a dynamic and talented hairdresser who has been honing her craft for nearly six years.
